RICHMOND Donald Trump heads to Virginia for a rally Friday, showcasing his improving prospects in a state that twice rejected him for president as well as his warming relations with Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R), who once avoided the former president but now stands ready to appear in public with him for the first time.
At an afternoon rally in Chesapeake one day after his first scheduled debate with President Biden, Trump is set to play up an apparent shift in his relationship with the governor as much as with voters in Virginia, where two recent polls show the race for president tied.
