Acceptable forms of identification for voting at the polling place or voting early include the following:
Voter confirmation documents you received after you registered to vote
Virginia DMV-issued Drivers License or Identification Card
Valid United States Passport
Any ID card issued by the US, Virginia, or a local Virginia government
Any student ID card issued by a US university or community college
Valid student ID issued by a public school or private school in Virginia
Employer-issued photo ID card
Any current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document with your name and address
An ID Confirmation Statement

You need to bring it in and mark spoiledon it to vote in person.

The Mrs and I voted early in Stafford County, straight blue ticket.

How despicable.
I'm so glad I live in a state that trusts us to verbally tell the poll worker the information needed to assure we're a legal voter and the person we say we are.

(24,688 posts)4. My wife and I voted by absentee ballot in Albemarle County and can see confirmation the ballots
were received online. Voting in person you have to show one of the forms od ID listed above. It's not an onerous requirement.
