Jones Soda has a new cannabis drink brand
Seattle-based Jones Soda, a 26-year-old craft soda company, has produced more than 150 limited edition flavors, such as turkey and gravy dinner, key lime pie and hatch chili lime. The company’s newest flavor — orange chocolate — is coming out in October.
For its latest endeavor, Jones Soda will soon release its cannabis brand, Mary Jones, in Washington state.
Mary Jones Brand Director David Grisgby says the Mary Jones products will be available through licensed dispensaries in mid-September.
“The plants are grown in Washington, and the THC element is extracted and emulsified into a water-soluble form and used to produce the drinks which are manufactured and distributed in Washington state, working with Ray’s Lemonade,” he tells me.
