Housing authority seeks more property in Edmonds
EDMONDS — The Housing Authority of Snohomish County could be expanding its supply of affordable housing units with land in Edmonds.
Earlier this month, the housing authority’s board of commissioners gave the go-ahead to submit an $8.4 million offer to purchase six parcels totaling 4.4 acres in Edmonds, south of Edmonds-Woodway High School. The property is tucked away from surrounding homes. Tall trees cover most of the land.
The parcels are located near the intersection of 80th Avenue West and 220th Street SW.
The property is listed at $8,999,950 through the Edmonds Windermere office.
