The driver lost control of the vehicle for whatever reason and ran over him while he was asleep in his tent,

I believe we need to do more for the homeless and I usually give few hundred dollars a year to various organizations that deal with the problem. That doesn't mean we have to put up with unsafe and unsanitary encampments.
