Major traffic arteries are simultaneously the most-sensitive-to and in-need-of efforts to improve the methodologies of their purpose.

I was superintendent of construction for such a project in a small community sat astride a regional main thoroughfare. It covers a broader spectrum of experience than one might initially think. From archaeology to psychology, engineering and installing improvements among the inhabitants of a deed-referenced society is interesting. I marvel at those individuals who integrate themselves successfully and usefully into the complex network that comprises the bones and muscle of America's public works.
