Election ballots were found outside Oak Harbor mailbox under investigation
OAK HARBOR, Wash. — The Postal Inspection Service is investigating an incident where ballots were found outside of a mailbox in Oak Harbor on Friday.
According to the United States Postal Service, the ballots in question were discovered by a customer and brought to the local Post Office.
KOMO News spoke with the man who found the ballots who said numerous ballots were splattered around the ground.
The county board of election was notified after the discovery and has issued new ballots to the affected customers.
