Why is Manchin breaking with Dems on shutdown?

5. Yes, I was just watching Rachel Maddow and she

said he is the only one of the Dems but didn't say what his reasoning was for his decision. I am going to call his office tomorrow and wanted more info before I speak with a staffer.

He's been loyal to preserving the ACA and voting against the tax bill. He's the only Dem defector on a continuing resolution that requires 60 votes to break the filibuster. No harm, no foul.
