Related: About this forumI would love to go to the Democratic National Convention
I have been teaching school in WV for more than 35 years. I love Obama! I am a Cancer Patient, school teacher, have a daughter who endured Cancer when she was pregnant with her first baby. I have a young daughter in college who has student loans and is on my insurance plan. I have never desired to go to the convention before but, I would love to see my President give his remarkable acceptance speech! I know there are other West Virginians who feel as I do and I want our voices to be heard! Forward, President Obama!

(331 posts)There are very few Obama signs in WV but, he does have people here who totally support him. We get lost among the opposition.

(331 posts)I didn't go to the convention but, I watched it every single day on Cspan and it was amazing! Just remember when you hear about all the negative things coming out of WV there are people here who love and support our President. I am working full time teaching. This is probably my last year before retirement. I want to retire knowing my President was in office and will be for the next four years. Thank you to all those great speakers at the DNC.
