No bomb found in Franklin Walmart, which was evacuated Sunday

Franklin's Walmart on 27th Street has reopened after a bomb threat closed the store for a few hours Sunday.

According to the Franklin Police Department:

Police received a call from the Walmart store manager concerned about a possible explosive device in the store around 9:30 a.m.

Franklin police evacuated Walmart and checked the store for possible explosives. The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office K-9 unit assisted along with the Milwaukee Police Department.

Police found no explosive device in the store and allowed workers to re-enter.
