I think they are protected. Maybe not but they have been around for quite a while.

7. There was a small herd outside Stevens Point

near the town of Hull very close to where we lived....they usually stayed near Jordan Park which, for the longest time, had a herd of white deer in a large enclosure until some dumbass shot some of them. Wonder if these could be offspring of those that managed to survive?

That would have been at the NW corner of Hwy 66 & CTH Y. I was P-Oed when they shot the deer.

My wife and I will soon be looking for a place to retire between Polonia and Custer. She told me how much land and what type of house, knowing I've got the Town of Stockton's roads memorized.

I wanted the Tomorrow River area because of the artists, writers and musicians, but we probably should be closer to a hospital at this stage. The whole area is within 20 minutes of everything, so I won't split hairs on location.

at Jordan Park....nice area if you’re looking for quiet yet close to a hospital and clinics.
