Tony Evers needs a spine

I voted for the man in 2018, and I'm happy he won and is our governor. That said, repeatedly claiming he does not know if he has the authority to require masks in the state of Wisconsin is a pathetic cop out even if it's true. Take a stand Tony, make the Republicans overrule you and claim that masks are not needed even as the covid-19 rate soars in pockets around the state. You look weak and sad, and that's not a good combination.

Yo beach bum, I'm pretty well informed. The Republicans and then the WI Supreme Court overruled his safer-at-home order. That's the extent of it. So what's your beef?

And has been for weeks, doing his press conferences and, in my opinion, appearing ridiculously weak. Vos and Fitzgerald walk all over him, and he barely complains.

Nah, I'm kidding. They'll just get more votes in their effed up districts.

He should do the mask order anyway. Karofsky will be seated August 1st. The Covidiot GOP SC justices only struck it down 4-3. With her on the court, it will go 4-3 the other way. Maybe he is biding his time to 8/1 or the morons will strike it down again.

for Tony forcing the Repubs to veto or in some other way override his actions would be to solidify our base...perhaps motivate them to get their absentee ballots filled out and sent in....maybe the timing closer to November would be better...but it is, unfortunately only a symbolic act until we replace those gerrymandered districts with fair districts.

11. I believe he is waiting until later this week to do a mask mandate.

The new Supreme Court justice takes her seat August 1st, so doing anything before that would likely result in it being overturned. If he does something at the end of the week, Vos and Fitz will have to bring their case to the new court.

Heard it while listening to the radio, now he has to prepare for a fight with the Republican legislature. Time for us to call our legislators!
