More accurately the WI Supreme Republican Party Court told election officials across the state on Thursday -- a week before the deadline to mail ballots -- that they can't mail out absentee ballots until the court decides whether to add the Green Party's presidential ticket to the ballot.

The next election is for the Chief Justice Roggensack's seat.
Rogensack and the other 'ambulance chasers' were part of the scam to replace Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson...
From Ballotpedia; The Wisconsin Supreme Court Chief Justice Amendment, also known as Question 1, was on the April 7, 2015, ballot in Wisconsin as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure provided for the election of the Wisconsin Supreme Court Chief Justice by a majority of the justices serving on the court. The amendment allowed the chief justice chosen by the court to serve a two-year term.
Election officials certified the results of the April 7 vote on April 29, 2015.
On that date, April 29, 2015 the conservatives, by an email vote, replaced Abrahamson with Patience Roggensack, not allowing Abrahamson to finish her term as the Chief.
We can put pressure on the conservative Justices, who must vote to keep Roggensack the Chief every two years.
Why the Justices themselves are allowed to appoint the Chief, is a poor option, as this allows a blatant partisan choice from 7 people, not the electorate.
The Wisc Supreme Court, has, since 2015, voted on some terrible partisan moves...the latest being holding up the absentee ballots, just days before they are to be mailed to voters...and override state laws to toss a mess into the Nov 2020 election. Just another bad move, in a series of partisan decisions that only harmed Wisconsin.
