Wausau and skiing. Be forewarned.

While Granite Peak is doing everything they can to encourage people to mask up per their guidelines, their policies have no teeth because the Marathon County sheriff won’t enforce the mask mandate. The entire town is OPEN for indoor seating and NO hotel/lodging enforces masking.

Granite peak is requiring a minimum 2-day purchase for weekend and holiday lift tickets. If you are needing lodging in town, consider yourself alerted.

There is a reason cases in this county are exploding.

Freaking knuckle-draggers are everywhere. I've finally just switched to ordering my groceries online. Too many maskholes. Everywhere.

There's a Central Wisconsin Maskers Facebook page that is tracking businesses that are doing the right thing and pushing business their way.

just so we weren't in the same house all the time. Surprisingly, when we filled up with gas and drove through town, most people had masks. I was shocked based on what it looks like at home.

I didn't make my annual fall trek up there this year. I was hearing from multiple inside sources that masking/SD is not being taken seriously.

Our hospitals are overwhelmed and it’s non-stop medi-copters coming from the North, landing in Madison, and going back and forth to Milwaukee.

The maskholes up North created this scenario and are still denying the existence of the virus which endangers my grandsons mother who is an RN at St. Mary’s Hospital. Even tho she’s in a “low risk” dept (NICU) she knows and has seen covid up close and personal. She was quarantined last April when an OBGYN dr tested positive. One grandson tested positive while quarantined at my sons but 2 days later tested negative and experienced no symptoms.

I fear the next few weeks as we can expect an explosion from deer camps and Thanksgiving get togethers.

Hang on, it’s going to be a very turbulent end to this year. I hope I’m wrong.....
