Wisconsin’s do-nothing legislature finally found something to do: more harm.

The State Senate’s vote to strip away @GovEvers
mask mandate - a thin layer of protection against a rampaging pandemic - is proof that when they are in session, Wisconsinites are in danger.

Yesterday in a large grocery store a 20-something lacking a mask was accompanied by his masked girlfriend. A 60-year old lady chided them with, "hey where's your mask" And it escalated rapidly. The mask-less guy told her after a heated exchange: "I've knifed people for less than that!" It was that insane! The store is a large chain and in two of their local stores have lost an employee (died) from Covid-19.

He tried to argue with me and tell me to read up on my facts. I told him the only fact he should be looking at is the fact that over 400,000 people are now dead. He hung up on me.

To be fair, I was not calm nor understanding. My husband and at least 5 of his co workers are cancer survivors, and at least one still going through treatment. They are all considered essential, as is my daughter who also works there. I am high risk, and miss hugging my family.

And my mothers and my cousins ashes are at my sisters home waiting for us to be able to get together to scatter them. At this point I don't feel Wisconsin republicans deserve respect. They will not be getting it from me.
