I think a lot of what we are seeing now is their freak out response to the George Floyd murder/BLM summer. I think they saw a lot more colors, shapes and sizes in those massive crowds than they could handle. It freaked them right out.

Now we get overturn of Roe, threats to same sex marriage, threats to trans Americans and all LGBTQ+ citizens, attacks on religions other than Christianity…
