(92,732 posts)Montana, got at least 3 feet last night, still blizzarding out there. I got all my stuff done yesterday when it was sunny and +52F.
Don't know if this will make it over there, sometimes it does.

(17,833 posts)How do you get out from under all that?

(92,732 posts)I usually keep apprised of the weather coming in so I plan to just stay home. It will clear in a couple days. I have snow waders and tall cars with 4wd if I had to go out in an emergency.
I could wade through it okay. I have been in snow up to my armpits and had to actually swim over the surface to get to my front door. In these parts, where we used to have deep snow every year, the doors open inward.

(8,655 posts)Also 10" a few miles north and west of Verona. And a friend reported 15" in Green Bay.
The worst part was that all weather reports for Verona up to 8 hours before were saying 1-3 inches. I know because I checked. The weather service totally blew this one.
