(29,540 posts)I’m in New England and that storm’s headed this way this week, but we’re only going down to the 20s, with a low of 9 one night being the coldest in the forecast. Even that’s plenty cold!
We’ve got shelters here that are being expanded for the coldest events.

(10,518 posts)Let me rephrase that. I HAD an eye appointment tomorrow at 10 AM. They sent an e-mail with a link to confirm, and a message that you couldn’t cancel by e-mail. So we’ll call tomorrow morning.

(8,655 posts)Crossing our fingers our furnace hold up in our old farm house. We've been checking our freeze alarm a couple of times per day to make sure it's not getting too far behind. I really don't want to have to send my elder parents out there.
