Hovde is relentlessly trashing Tammy Baldwin

Radio, television, and internet ads. It reminds me of 2010, when they trashed Feingold at every turn, and it worked.

She has a partner/wife in New York, so she's not really from Wisconsin any more.

She lets men play in girls sports and go to domestic violence shelters.

She's paying for sex change operations left and right.

She made sure terrorists got stimulus checks.

Translation: Gay and Trans people are SCARY

But the broad brush is that she's a "career politician" and he's a businessman and "job creator".

Tammy Baldwin has built a career of service by going to law school, and progressing through state and federal government to being a US Senator. She is an exemplary public servant.

Eric Hovde decided to buy himself a Senate seat - that's all there is to it. Same as Ron Johnson.

If we get these two idiots representing our state, I don't think I can stand it.

2. I'm so sick of hearing about how "businessmen" and "job creators" are supposed to be great in government.

Being good in business and knowing how government works are two totally separate things.

And you're right, being good in business does not mean you will be good in government.

7. I think the issue is how being "good" in business is defined.

Now it typically means “made a lot of money.” It used to mean provides a good product/service, treats employees well, and conducts business in an ethical and socially responsible manner. I think someone who does that would probably be good on government. A vulture capitalist? Not so much.
