Benjamin Netanyahu: Confront ISIS poison tree before it grows
The world needs to confront ISIS before it gets too big, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday in an exclusive interview with CBC News.
But the decision on whether to put combat troops on the ground to fight ISIS will have to come from "those leading this effort."

Paul Calandra apologizes for non-answers as sources pin blame on PMO
But sources tell CBC News that Calandra was handed material by Alykhan Velshi, director of issues management in the PMO, during the Conservatives' daily preparation for question period and was told to use it in his answer no matter what question was asked in the House.
"I'm fairly certain there will be other opportunities in this House where I will be answering questions that you don't appreciate," he said. "I don't think this will be the last time that I get up and answer a question that doesn't effectively respond."

Alykhan Velshi
Alykhan Velshi (born 6 February 1984) is a lawyer, policy analyst, and ministerial assistant. He has worked at the predominantly neoconservative American Enterprise Institute and was manager of research at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, where he co-founded the Center for Law and Counterterrorism with Andrew C. McCarthy.[1] He has written pieces in support of George W. Bush's foreign and military policies. Velshi currently works as Director of Issues Management for the Prime Minister of Canada.[2]
