R.I.P Cpl. Ron Francis

The RCMP were angered by this man's actions, disliked the optics and stripped him of his dignity. Did they offer to help one of their own?

Sadly, the most vocal of the RCMP stated that he should have "come to us first" before the media circus surrounded him; concern about optics (as always) instead of the facts and helping this man.

Janet Merlo tried to get help from the RCMP with the sexual harassment she was suffering from, how did that work out for her? The security apparatus in this country is still in the dark ages and we are all worse off for it.

...that has never been quite right. They are surviving in the modern age entirely on reputation. The ones that can't handle this hypocrisy end their lives in quiet dignity.

The rest of them are out there looking for someone to beat on so keep your head down.
