I truly think that when our great grandchildren read about this era, there will be a mark that says "pre bush/harper" and "post Bush/Harper" because both of them were leaders that, despite being reviled by many, had enough power to ruin North America's repuation and image of self. Neither of our nations were the same before or after.

I still can't believe he was reelected with a majority. And here in Canada, we can't even blame the supreme court for that.
