The amusingly titled article "Alien Baby: Is Your Zygote American Enough" answers some of this.

But the article is a year old and the rules are complex and changing. But I wouldn't be at all surprised if they were eventually deemed "citizens for tax purposes."

and that sperm is used to impregnate an undocumented Mexican woman, would the child have triple citizenship: Mexican, American, and Canadian?
