People across the country, as well as from other countries, have brought their frustrations with government response to the pandemic — all levels of government — to the nation's capital.

How selfish, how stupid have people become? 
Yes, everyone wishes there was an end to the COVID pandemic. Everyone wishes life could return to normal. But with certain people doing everything within their power to defeat the measures that could end the pandemic sooner, we'll be extremely fortunate if we ever end it! 
Right-wing groups are using the pandemic to strengthen their positions within countries all over the world. This was terribly fortuitous for these groups, and they're going to do everything they can to harness people's anger against governments everywhere. This is their wet dream, their chance to increase their power worldwide.
Unfortunately, it's working, because any sense of a world community, of people working together to solve the world's problems together has given way to selfishness.
Sometimes I feel that humans are the real virus on our planet. I think one day the cosmos will unleash an extinction event that will, once again, reset life on our planet to the default setting.
