1. Not so in BC, especially the island and lower mainland

Our entire winter seemed to last from Dec. 23-Jan 8 or so, when we got an entire winter’s worth of snow in just a couple of weeks. Since then, it has been cold, but with minimal rain until this week, with more a bit more rain coming in the coming week.

It’s currently cool and sunny, and absolutely lovely.

I worry this means the summer is going to be another scorcher like last year.

3. Yep had spring in early Feb and then went down to -20, warmed up

and had snow the past 3-4 days. I have to say it has been one of the mildest winters here, very little snow which is concerning, so hope the mountains got lots.

4. Yes. I concur. We have lots of snow but I worry at how warm it gets at least a few days each week

during the winter. We've hit zero C a few times. Very odd.
