Farage may have been ripe to jump to his latest party (whose leader at the time resigned under a cloud because of racist statements, attitudes and associations) anyway, but when you're too racist and crass for Farage ...

Most of "Robinson's" speech seemed to be taken up with ranting about Muslim gangs of child abusers.

A number of media reps were also harassed and manhandled (i.e. assaulted) during the demo, and there were a number of arrests (maybe more to come as some of the incidents were videoed). It reportedly alienated some more mainstream Leavers who were attending one of the two rallies, one allegedly saying they'd now vote Remain if this is what Leave was going to be like.
