Update from a tweet in the rolling news:
Sacked:
Hunt
Mordaunt
Fox
Clark
Hinds
Bradley
Wright
Mundell
Brokenshire
Nokes (attended cabinet as Immigration)
Stride (attended as Leader of Commons)
Resigned:
Hammond
Gauke
Stewart
Perry (attended as Energy)
Retired:
Grayling
Lidington
(May)
Same position:
Barclay (Brexit)
Hancock (Health)
Rudd (Work and Pensions)
Evans (Leader of Lords)
Cairns (Wales)
Skidmore? (attended as Universities etc.)
Cox (attended as Attorney Gen)
Moved:
Javid (Home->Chancellor)
Gove (DEFRA->Cabinet Office)
Truss (attended as Chief Sec Treasury -> International Trade)
Smith (attended as Chief Whip -> Northern Ireland)
Lewis (party Chairman -> attending as Home Office minister)
Hardly any Remainers left at all; Nicky Morgan, who was in the cabinet pre-May, has rejoined as Culture, Media and Sport. And Boris has appointed his own brother Jo as Business, Energy etc., despite Jo endorsing a 2nd referendum. So it seems blood is thicker than Brexit, after all. It's a bit Trumpian, really.
(Turned out Smith had been shuffled not sacked, so 12 remain, not 11.)

(176,848 posts)I hate to think of who (what may be more appropriate) he'll replace them with.

(41,303 posts)I think she could actually be worse than Michael Howard!
Gavin Williamson for Education - WTAF??!
Dominic 'What's the Channel?' Raab for Foreign Secretary?
Could this all just please not be happening?!

(102,478 posts)Chris Grayling's replacement as Transport Secretary is Grant Shapps. The spiv's spiv, who made his money with a series of highly dubious internet wheezes and 'books', and who quit his previous position because of bullying inside the party while he was chairman, which led to a suicide. But bullying is now admirable to the new PM, so all is forgiven.
Could it get worse? Of course it could:

And just as I type that:
Jacob Rees-Mogg named Lord President of the Council and Leader of House of Commons
That means he'll be charged with preventing votes to stop No Deal. He'll be on our screen continuously for the next 3 months or more.

(14,800 posts)As though they haven't got the talent to choose from. Of course the Brexshitters clamour for idealogically pure appointments has made things a lot worse.

(102,478 posts)Penny Mourdant is, apparently, a keen Brexiteer, but supported Hunt in the election; so she was out. Same went for Liam Fox. Mundell, the 'senior' Scottish Tory MP (the only one, from 2015-17), and close to Ruth Davidson, was kicked out - he had said No Deal would be bad. And maybe anyone close to Davidson was a problem for Johnson, since she seems like a sensible politician, in comparison to him.
