(12,712 posts)I have been taking 5000 iu of D3 daily due to the pandemic.
I try to keep up with studies that indicate some potential to mitigate the deleterious effects of the disease.
I also have some melatonin on hand in case I show symptoms and I now take low-dosage aspirin daily based on some studies that indicate better results if for those who take that.
All of those are inexpensive and have a low toxicity.

Lowered the cases of rickets among African Americans, among other things.
