We are all trade experts now.

Spare a thought for the trade experts reading this piece in The Sun this morning.
It’s the post-Brexit greatest hits of trade spin.
“Win, win, win, more jobs, higher wages, lower prices, hard-working families, cheaper wine.”
Even James Bond & WWII get a mention

Farmers the next occupation being thrown under the £350 million pound a week brexit bus. Surprise!
Literally shameless propaganda. Free trade deal to get shitty new world wine and beef farmed with really dodgy standards for animal welfare... sooooo much winning in Global Britain. But, hey, look at the dead cat from 25 years ago over there folks 👀

... Is gobshites who haven't imported or exported a thing in their whole lives pretending that they are somehow experts on international trade.

Anyone who's seen freight rates for shipping containers to and from Australia at present will be able to see quite clearly that we can't replace the trade we are losing with bad protectionist trade policies countries that are near with a trade deal with a country far far away.
