All of the gammons could not be more predictable this morning

Racist wanker decides that you are allowed to be British after all if you are a winner

Racist bully decides that Emma winning means that his racist bullying during Wimbledon was a success and tries to own the win

They are so gammony that they are unable to see the utter hypocrisy in their positions.
Don't they realise that she owned them and their shitty little englisher nasty, not that they in some way own her victory. Silly rabbits.

And for the bonus point Oliver Downdon congratulating the channel 4 / amazon deal for the match, as he is actively working to dismantle channel 4. Because of course he did.

1. I had to go look up 'gammony' and hoo boy does it have a lot of different

meanings. One meaning refers to a cut of ham (they type one might cook to enjoy at
a meal). Other meanings refer to the game of backgammon. But the one I think fits here in your op is identified as:

"People on the internet have been sniggering about ‘gammon’ – a term for Brexit-obsessed, purple-faced men – for months.

The term, loosely, refers to the sort of pink-faced right-wing gentleman who uses phrases such as ‘political correctness gone mad’ and really dislikes cyclists, and has been used widely online for almost a year."

Oh, so we're talking about Tory/Fascist Twits being called 'gammons' (my first clue
was the name 'Nigel Farage' on one of the tweets copied in the original op). And of
course 'gammons' practice 'gammony'. Of course they should be ridiculed. Well done, Soph0571.

So I think I'm up to speed here. Now for some reason I fancy a nice piece of ham
for breakfast.

Here are my search results for 'gammony', just in case anyone has the time and
curiosity:

2. Mega hypocrisy of doing in plain sight what you accuse others of doing is now a replicable strategy

It needs a new name other than hypocrisy. Projection and hypocrisy do not do it justice. But neither does gammony mega-wanker. No one would understand. Self-dealing accusers ... nah.

I'm thinking of a term that blends hypocrisy and incest, sort of 'look at me, i have Teflon hypocrisy suit'. Hannitize?

DUers, need help, if this makes any sense to you.

Have been looking for a better word also. Duplicitous or double-dealing fit in there too. Seems Rs wear hypocrisy as a badge of honor.

And even members of DU, have no idea about who Oswald Mosley is. Anyway, they wouldn't be quite so crass -- they would have pictures of Thatcher and Enoch Powell (the "Rivers of Blood&quot man.

10. Ah, you give them too much credit. Both are definitely crass enough to have pictures of Mosley.

On a British forum, the most racist poster said "not exactly an English Rose" and "it's always nicer when your sporting heroes look like they actually belong in the country they are representing", which another anti-immigrant poster called "harsh, even for you".

9. A kind explanation of Morgan's behaviour

To be honest I think a lot of these people like Morgan and Farage are just openly working on the assumption that their followers all have the memory of a goldfish and don't remember any of their previous pontifications.
