2020 Democratic Ticket- Beto O'Rourke/Stacey Abrams.

Beto O'Rourke(D-TX) received 48.3 percent of the popular vote in the 2018 TX US Senate Race against the Republican incumbent- Ted Cruz. Stacey Abrams(D-GA) received 48.8 percent of the popular vote in the 2018 GA Gubernatorial Election against Republican GA Secretary of State Brian Kemp.
If O'Rourke and Abrams were on the 2020 Democratic Presidential/Vice Presidential Ticket. How would they do in GA and TX against Trump/Pence-R in the November General Election? Could O'Rourke and Abrams help the 2020 Democratic US Senate nominees in GA and TX?

O'Rourke/Abrams-D wins all of the Clinton/Kaine-D 2016 States plus MI,PA,WI,FL,AZ,and NC.
GA,OH,TX, and IA are Tossup States.

Democrats path to regaining control of the US Senate in 2020 goes through-
AZ(Kelly-D)
CO(Hickenlooper-D)
NC(Cunningham-D)
GA(Democratic nominee in the Regular and/or the Special Election.)

1. I'd vote for that ticket,

but I would prefer to see a ticket that had more experience. While the ticket would be racially and gender balanced, Abrams has no federal experience so I believe that Beto can find other people that have a background which complement his own skills.

4. I understand your point and also considered Abrams legislative experience before I posted.

However, I think that there are other leaders with more legislative experience that are from swing states or at least offer gender balance to an O'Rourke ticket. While I don't know much about the policy positions such as Tammy Baldwin and Debbie Stabenow, those seem like more plausible choices for Beto than Abrams. For both cases, their replacements would be appointed by Democratic governors so Democrats wouldn't risk losing control of those Senate seats.

2. we would win TExas and Georgia and i believe we would win Arizona . i'm kind of ok losing Ohio

if we can win all these other states because i'm tired of all the attention that one state recieves . same goes for Florida .

5. I think the R's would put out ads pointing out that both lost their state-wide elections.

Lincoln lost the 1858 IL US Senate Election to Douglas but won the 1860 US Presidential Election.
