(13,882 posts)Having a Texan on the ticket certainly wouldn't hurt and he would likely be a very enticing VP pick for that very reason of helping flip TX or to keep it blue if it flips in 2024.

Which I don't think he will. We've been talking about how Texas is gonna turn blue for a while. It never happens.
