presidential candidates and their viewpoints
I had asked a question in September about the five presidential candidates and didn't get any responses either here or at City-Data.com, so I compiled the information myself. I wanted to know what the candidates had done, who the actions had helped and who the actions had hurt.
So it took me awhile to compile this information and write it all down. I tried to be objective; I hope I succeeded; I did my best to try and use words that weren't biased. I know that whatever I have written, someone will think I'm supporting the opposition.
These were five of my resources: the web pages of Harris, Oliver, Stein, Trump and West.

Hamilton County (Ohio) Voters' Guide 2024, by the League of Women Voters of Cincinnati Area, questions for US Presidential candidates, p. 3. Only Jill Stein responded to the questionaire.
The New York Times, The Election Issue, "Meet the Candidates," by Maggie Astor, October 27, 2024, p. 2. The NYT has a section once a month designed for teens.
The New York Times, "30 Days Until the Election," by Maggie Astor, Oct. 6, 2024, pp. 1-12. This huge section divided by issues followed by a few paragraphs each was what I used the most.
I wanted sources that were easy for me to read and to access. I have actual paper subscriptions to the Sunday New York Times and Cincinnati Enquirer, and am a member of AARP. The Voters' Guide was published in October and distributed through all of the Cincinnati/Hamilton County libraries, among other places. I know that there are a bazillion resources on the Internet and a bazillion paper publications, but I didn't want to get too bogged down. I actually have softened some of the text of NYT where I thought the writer was using biased language, such as not using the term "conspiracy theories."
Believe me, I learned a lot about all five of these folks, some good, some not-so-good. I know I won't change anyone's mind at this late date, but I really wanted to read the information as I have compiled it, and NO ONE ELSE was doing this!
