Election Reform
Related: About this forumFinally! Some good news about voting rights.
Oregon has enacted a "universal voting law." What it means is that the onus is now on the government to make sure that people are ALREADY registered to vote and don't have to miss work or spend days tracking down enough ID to qualify to vote. Of course, this is only one state and ALL the Republicans voted against the bill, it's still a good sign and letting the voters see what the problem is and who it is that is trying to suppress the vote (Republicans) can only redound to the benefit of Dems in the state.
Maybe some other Democratic states can do the same and start a groundswell to see if happen nation-wide.
