Looking for a tall, skinny kitchen trash can 8" wide

I've found tall ones at 10.2" wide, but that won't work. And the only ones I've found so far that are less than 8" wide are little bathroom trash cans, which also won't work.

Granted, I haven't looked around too much yet, but I thought maybe someone could perhaps confirm that what I'm looking for actually exists. I need it to squeeze between my dryer and the wall.

Amazon is where I started, and had only found tall ones at no less than 10.2 inches wide. But there's a whole lot more I hadn't eyeballed yet. So I'm still at it, but still no luck.

5. I use a painted tin umbrella stand for mine. Narrow and tall.

I think I got it at a Tuesday morning. A perfect fit.

7. A friend built one out of wood. Very strong on account of a hungry dog.

I have some sturdy cardboard boxes that are tall and skinny. Meant for long-sh and skinny-ish power tools.
The bag takes all the abuse.

FWIW, I am single and make very little food waste, so that goes into one of the recyclable plastic bags (soon to be banned in CA, goodness ) I compact or recycle the rest. Not enough waste to even hire a weekly pickup.

When I read "Walden." I had no idea I'd be living like that, many years later.

Can't find my photo of the cabin. Visited MA, and right after taking the photo, my digital camera froze up. I got a pocket camera for the rest of the trip, and a nicer (and more durable one) when I got back home. Born in Boston, and lived in the area for some 20 years. Worked in Lexington for a while and sometimes drove past the green on the way home.

They might work and they tend to come lidded, if that matters.

Do you need something that will take a garbage liner? That might make things more difficult.
