Can't see youtube videos

This started about a week or so ago. Suddenly no video. Just audio. Running latest Firefox. Everything updated. No malware. Have AMD Radeon 6450 which I just got the last update for. Window 7 64 bit SP 1.

Display driver properties won't let me change settings and I'm too chicken to go into the registry without someone holding my hand.

I wasn't able to search in this forum so, I apologize if it's been asked a hundred times already.

If anyone can help I will be forever grateful. This is making me crazy....

It could be your Adobe Flash extension.

2. Did you try disabling flash

I am pretty sure that You tube no longer requires flash.

Yup just tested it flash is no longer needed for you tube. Disabling it might break some websites but if you tube works with it disabled you have at least figured out the problem is with flash and not something else.

3. How bizarre

Disabled Flash and vids still didn't play. Tried some stuff in TT's link. Nothing worked. Just for fun I turned off Ublock on youtube and naturally, the video played. But, who wants ads. While I was still on youtube I turned Ublock back on and refreshed the vid and now all are playing. So, I can keep Flash on for other stuff and now see the youtube vids. Thanks much for the replies!!!
