Looking for AntiVirus Software Recommendations - TIA

I currently have Kaspersky but want something else. I've heard of PCMatic, Mcaffe and Symantec? Is there one that's better than the other?

Add a Malwarebyte sub to it and you should be good.

2. AV virus software are Virus software....

Why would anyone trust Kaspersky and McAffee? Consider using Ghostery and ABP.

3. Kaspersky Labs were often the first to identify nasties

over the last decade and they were not all nasties that originated in Russia.

Their CEO was removed by Putin during the election furore and I don't know why.

Ghostery is good for removing advertisers and trackers but it's not an antivirus. MacAfee
in combination with Windows AV is fine for home systems. I dumped Symantec years ago because it made the computer run like shit when it updated, and it updated a lot.

5. I bought this desktop at Costco and it came on the PC. It was free for 3 yrs and now it's due for

renewal the end of May. They wanted 110 for renewal. Didn't say for how many years.

You can use it on 4 machines. My IT guy at work recommended it. Haven't gotten any nasty viruses in the years I've been using.

It came on the system so I never researched any other options.

14. Check online or at national retailers for Kaspersky Total Security or

Bitdefender Total Security. You can find discounts for both products. Don't cut corners on Security Software specially in these times. Do your updates each and every day.
