Why am I seeing two identical versions of Democratic Underground with different URLs?

This is the URL of the DU I have bookmarked and where I have had an account since 2009:

But doing an unrelated google search just now, this URL popped up:

https://demu.gr/index.php


They both look the same, but where is this alt DU coming from?

I believe that one anywhere can get (buy) a URL from anywhere and host it anywhere. There are exceptions I'm sure.

If you go to demu.gr you will see the front page of DU as we know it.
