I just had a strange thing happen that I've never run into before.

When I signed in, I saw a foreign word on the screen, but didn't have time to try to figure it out before the screen disappeared. When I opened the pages I normally use during the day, AOL had foreign words (German?) for all the functions. For instance, keep as new, reply, reply all, delete, etc.

I've never had that happen before. Have I been hit? Before I go any further, I thought I'd best ask.

Before folks can help, you need to indicate what system and browser you're using, at least. (I don't know what's going on here, but others who use the same system or browser may.)

4. It sounds like your default language in your browser got changed.

Somehow my default language in facebook once got changed. No idea how it happened. I would say to look in your browser settings and see if you can find a place to select your language preference.
