How do I get Office to connect back to my email. I think this happened because

I deleted the "free" 365 software from my new computer and have Office for Home and School. The internet says to choose a default app and then to connect to Office but as with most (all) things MS, this does not work. I have Windows10 and Office 2019. Thanks in advance.
Tried this but cannot get any further than just choosing my default email: "To set the default mail handler in Windows 10 or 8.1, right-click on Start > select Control Panel > Default Programs > Set your default programs > click on the appropriate email program in the list > select "Choose defaults for this program" > under MAPI, check "Send Mail" and click Save > click on the appropriate"
The MAPI is what the message says for why I cannot attach my documents and send. Sure hope someone out there can help. (I am connected to and receiving messages from both email accounts.)

Then format your hard drive and install Ubuntu. I believe Open Office is a package that is included with the installer.

Thunderbird Mail client is what I use with Ubuntu. Actually, my wife isn't ready to do away with MS so I installed Thunderbird on her laptop. She also used Thunderbird.
