i didnt think my info was being used, but when i finally got into my bank accounts, seems someone is using my paypal to drain my accounts.
paypal was the first place that i got locked out so hard that even tech support couldnt get my back in. so, i havent used it in months.
my new bank account, which i never linked to paypal had 13 transactions, totaling almost $3k.
they reversed it all, but...
my old account, which is, got bit less hard, but the bank has caught on and started reversing them. i'll have to call them today. but damn.
so, lord knows what else they are doing in my name out there.
so, who is the best? i'm not a very trusting person, so putting stuff like this in someone's hands, knowing what an unscrupulous person could do w it, well, ugh.

(4,285 posts)I locked my Social security and my credit bureaus accounts down. Nobody gets my SS, nobody can get credit in my name. Also, change your account passwords at least once a year. Hope this helps.

(59,605 posts)My crappy bank told me nothing they can do with Paypal or Square, as they are "financial instutions." 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Ever try getting Square on the phone?
Keep an eye on your account, as my so-called bank initially reversed bogus charges, too. Then they reinstated charges, causing a neg balance in small, little-used account.
I would cancel all the cards activity occurred on. Guessing fraud department already has reissued new cards.
I will never use paypal or square again! 🤬
Good luck, Mo!
