after being kicked out of gmail yet again and having to stumble through my passwords
my tech suggested to clear privated data. the machaine used is a macbook air early 2014 ( almost 10 yo). running big sur at the moment .(ver. 11.3.1) i cleard personal data and to do that goto tools / clear private data /deselect the following, browsing history /location bar history/saved form and search history. leave cache and authenticated sessions . since that , i havent been able to do something i havent been able to do on my prefered browser(seamonkey) for years and that is view photos on seamonkey. had to pull shenanigans to do that . hope this helps someone who is having simalar issues .

(1,109 posts)Similar situation, butt different; running MacBook Pro mid 2009 with OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6 and 8 jiggawatts of RAM. This device will simply not-not-not run anything Google, and struggles with MS Office as well; so I am limited to only appley products, as in Safari (11.1.2) and Apple Mail. This much older setup works just fine and is an adorable workhorse when staying within its limits - and that's okay by me (!).
Wishing you good luck with your (newer than mine) MacBook Air, and would (only) suggest that you consider sticking with everything and only Apple applications.

Also, looked for BEAN
It requires the following
iPhone: iOS 13.0 or later
iPod touch: iOS 13.0 or later
Mac: macOS 11.0 or later and Mac with Apple M1 chip
My very old MacBook will not allow me to run this newer application
Thank you for your kind suggestion and good luck with your mac devices
