Storage Question: my PC, Tablet and smartphone are all connected... all via my Google account

So here's my question. My tablet only has 16G of storage and I'm always running out of space on it. I clear the cache which frees up a tiny bit of space. I've uninstalled apps I don't need on my tablet. So since it's all connected if I unlink my tablet from my Google account would it give me more storage and not fill up so quickly.

Is that how it works? Or am I way off? Just trying to figure out why my tablet is running out of space all the time.

Will be a little slot for a storage card. SD stands for secure digital.

They come in a few physical sizes - your tablet probably needs a micro SD card but there are also nano cards. They usually come with an adapter to suit various devices.

This works like a tiny additional drive. Your tablet may have a limit on the size of the HD card it can accept: 16, 32, 64 gb. You'll need to look up the manual for this info.

9. Of Some Note

If the SD card is the answer to your queries, then I do hope you realize that you can also have multiple SD cards. You can also 'move' all OR some of those files (currently on your tablet and/or on any newly acquired SD cards) to the cloud OR to your pc OR to another type of external storage device, like an external solid-state drive (SSD).

SD cards can be rather finicky and they sometimes fail. You may wish to only utilize the more 'well-known' brands and perhaps be sure to check the read/write speeds; wherein the 'pro' marked SD cards are typically faster at both reading and writing various files. I have had good luck with the Lexar brand, as well as with the Corsair brand. There are many to choose from, so choose wisely IcyPeas.

13. when i first started with computers , the storage was bytes long.

ahen i got my first computer it was a 286 and had 2 floppy drive slots. one for the os and the other for the app. if wanted to store , the app disk had to be removed . then i got my first hd. 10 mb seagate open fraime that kept crashing. i learned the value of memory and disk management that way. my latest mac has a sd slot in it and i would use it to transfer pictures from my camera.
