Not that I don't know how to fix it myself, but

Has anybody had the same experience with Comcast that I've had?

I was going to switch to AT&T until the OAN thing and Comcast actually offering me a way to save money. Not that I like Comcast, you understand.....

Anyway, things seemed slow, and when I did a speed test I found that I was not getting the bandwidth I was paying for.

When I called support, the guy almost immediately said turn my Wi-Fi on the phone off and turn it back on again. Which worked.

Only trouble is, I've got to do it every single day or oftener.

Anybody happen to know why this should be? It only takes a few seconds, but it's annoying.

But I might know how to find one.

What they've effectively told you to do is re-set your wifi adapter. So I googled "constant need to reset wifi adapter" and there is a brazillion (not really) hits.

Edit to add: This is just one of the links: https://www.dell.com/community/Networking-Internet-Bluetooth/Constantly-need-to-quot-reset-wireless-network-adapter-quot/td-p/4430492

Sometimes twice a day. Weak signal, sometimes no signal. Had service come out. They told me my computer is too old. I have a Verizon Hot Spot. Computer works just fine when I have the hot spot on.

It is very annoying.
