Can someone advise me and or point me to instructions on android messaging icons?
I seem to be stuck right now with something my phone calls "stickers" that are just terrible. What I want is a small number of useful icons - a simple heart, a simple hug, a simple smile. That's all I need, really.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Where you type your messages. There is a smiley icon beside the send button. You can add all kinds of smileys after you write your message.

There is an icon to the right of where I type my text messages, and that's the one that brings up the large number of bad choices that I had mentioned.
But if I touch the icon on the keyboard, I get what I need!
