What is the best way to transfer the photos on my iPhone 6 to my laptop.
I have a ton of photos that I need to transfer to my laptop, but want to keep some of them on my iPhone 6. Im sure its easy, but as senior, Im no computer genius. Any advice?

(120,830 posts)and open the email on your computer, then download the attached photo to whatever file you want to keep them in. My iPhone automatically sends photos to my laptop via my wifi, but you might not be set up for that, and email is easy.

I love the idea of the iPhone automatically sending the photos to laptop, but not sure if I would need a phone more advanced than the 6.

2. From iphone to Mac, the usual cord for charging can connect to Mac. Then, use Photos app to import.
3. Wirelessly, you might send a few by email or messenger software such as Facebook messenger, Whatsapp or other.

(4,213 posts)A lot, I know. A lot of the photos Ive saved are ones from DU, which I text and email to friends. A lot of good and funny stuff on DU.

(2,619 posts)Through USB and you dont have iTunes installed, windows will pop up an alert asking you if you wish to import the pictures automatically. Just read the windows and check boxes carefully or it can delete the pictures from the phone when done importing

(1,923 posts)If you're not regularly saving your phone's pix, be prepared to lose them if you lose your phone!
If you're backing up your pictures, then whatever holds the backups could be read by your PC to
import them to that computer.
