Phone help - Android

So I was taking a nap and knocked off my phone to my carpeted floor. When I rolled over to get it, it was laying screen down and making little "beep-boop" noises. Ever since then, my search bar on chrome comes up in RUSSIAN or some other Cyrillic font. My default language in Settings is English. I can find nothing set in Russian, but it still pops up here and there. Today it popped up on a pop up calendar where I was supposed to enter my birthrate. Very annoying!

I'm trying to avoid resetting it, because then I would have to reload my apps, but I will do whatever is necessary. What a PITA!

he eventually got it to go back to English. I don't know how (and he doesn't either) so no help there, sorry, but just to let you know it happens so just keep playing around.
