I recently bought a new DELL laptop and it seems to have an automatic save function.

For instance, when I write in the Thread Title line on a post in DU, the next time I go to write a title for a response or to start a discussion, at least 6 of my last titles pop up for me to select.

How do I stop this from happening. Is there an option I can turn off?

Thanks for the help.

I'm not sure. It could be any of these 3; Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome. Fla Dem Feb 2023 #3

I can remember playing a game in the lounge using the last subject line combined with something else, though I don't remember what.

I'm pretty sure it's edge. That's the one with the wave logo?

For example, a member who shall remain nameless calls 80% of their posts "No Shit". I need to click twice in the thread title box, but a similar list appears for me.

I've tried this with 'Show search suggestions' turned both on and off in my browser and it makes no difference. The drop-down list appears on the second click.

FYI, using a desktop computer and Waterfox browser.

This is for the edge browser

Open a new tab and put this into the address bar.

edge://settings/personalinfo

On that page, turn Save and fill personal info Off
