Help with undoing a dumb dumb NEVER MIND
Fixed it
I installed an SD card on my blue view 2 phone, intending to put my music on it and use the phone as a dedicated player. I was a little discombobulated to begin with, because the phone didn't recognize it automatically and I had to Google that I should go to settings and format it. Well I formatted it as internal storage, which was the Dum Dum. Now the only thing the phone is seeing is the SD card, using it as main storage. Which means I lost my 32 gig of storage on the phone. I also stupidly moved everything to said SD card, so I'm scared of just reformatting it, worried that might break the phone. But I can't find any way to get the files back to main storage, because main storage is simply not showing up. At all. The only thing I'm really worried about getting back to main storage is anything related to the operating system. Apps and files I can replace.

(2,096 posts)I was just a little nervous about how to undo it, especially since my 32 gig of main storage no longer showed at all and the SD card showed a folder named Android on it, which I thought might mean it moved the operating system.
I reformatted the SD card as removable storage, and lost some of the files that I had moved when I formatted it incorrectly, but it was nothing I couldn't replace.
I worked up the nerve to try that when I realized that I had that option available. I figured the phone wouldn't let me do anything that would destroy it. Hopefully.

(3,645 posts)They have a recovery partition and they do updates in a way that there is a backup to make sure the device works and can restart.
