(10,390 posts)I don't know what you want from "secure" email. If you're not wanting Uncle Sam to read your emails then Protonmail is probably a good bet. It has a free tier plus plenty of paid options. Servers are in Switzerland.
For me secure email is that my emails are safe... And Google has been doing that for me for years now. I'm grandfathered into a free Google Workspace account with custom domain so I'm happy with that. But if I was wanting something super secure and didn't want to go to the effort to roll my own then Protonmail would be my first choice.
